“A Ride to College on God’s Word” (Special Announcement!)

There may be some things you don’t know about me.

(Actually, I hope there are things you don’t know about me. If there wasn’t, that would be creepy.)

Maybe you don’t know I spent the better part of ten years in AWANA while I was growing up.

If you’re not familiar with AWANA, go to www.awana.org. In short, the program teaches children and teens biblical truths through Bible verse memorization, discipleship, and a whole lotta fun. 

After ten years, I received the Citation Award—the farthest you can go in the program—and received a scholarship to Baptist Bible College!

Fast forward to today: AWANA liked my story enough to publish it on their new blog, LifeThreads!
